Your guide to good walking Useful tips and guidelines to follow to enjoy your walking safety.
Safe and Sensible All of the walks detailed here are suitable for ambulent people of average fitness. At the same time all involve an amount of exertion above and beyond everyday walking. Approach these walks sensibly by ensuring that you have good footwear (sturdy waterproof walking shoes or boots) and carry a waterproof and warm sweater between Autumn and Spring. Don't attempt walk 5, Noel Siabod walk or Walk 12, the Glyders Ridge, unless you are a seasoned walker, and then again only in suitable weather.
